The Company~

During a particularly stressful evening sitting with an uncontrollable teething baby, desperation kicked in and Suellen Riedel gave that baby a set of car keys to try to soothe and distract her . . . It worked. 
Problem:  What could be filthier than a set of keys? 

After observing teething babies and polling many mothers, it became apparent to her that babies instinctively crave cold smooth objects. Stories abounded of babies chewing on such things as beverage cans, butter knives, grocery carts, door hinges, even “that metal strip that holds the carpet down!”

A little research revealed that the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Sears and other pediatric professionals recommend cold spoons for teething babies. 
Problem:  Spoons are difficult for babies to manipulate -- it’s possible they could choke themselves or poke their eyes, ears and nose with the handle.  

Suellen and her daughter Rachel established Oh, That Baby! Ltd., a Colorado-based company, to create and bring to market a sensible baby teether that really works.  The pair is dedicated to helping soothe the pain of teething babies, thereby calming the stress of their caregivers.  “When we relieve a baby’s pain, we ease the stress, frustration and anxiety experienced by everyone near them.” 

The Company’s mission is to improve the lives of babies and their families during one of the most challenging phases of infant development.  They are passionate about both the benefits and safety of Toofeze® and have ensured that the teether exceeds all current and relevant standards/regulations.

Oh, That Baby! Ltd. has contributed to local Colorado organizations, such as, The Kempe Center, Newborns in Need and R Baby Foundation. This mother/daughter team plans to continue to reach out to nonprofit organizations in an effort to help nurture underprivileged and at-risk babies because they believe every baby deserves a Toofeze®.
